New Balance’s “Grey Day” is an annual celebration of its classic grey color story. In 2023, the Boston shoe company brought back its 996 model in a clean “Grey Day” colorway in celebration of both the event and the shoe’s anticipated return. The shoe is complete with a grey mesh base with tonal suede overlays. A reflective silver “N” logo appears on the sides. White laces are layered over the grey mesh tongue. Underfoot, an ENCAP cushioned midsole provides a comfortable ride. Release date: May 12, 2023
