The Kith x United Arrows and Sons x New Balance 990V4 is a collaboration between the Japanese contemporary fashion brand, Kith, and New Balance that honors both Kith’s 10-year anniversary and the 40-year anniversary of the 990. The shoe’s grey, black, purple, and pink color scheme is inspired by Kith, United Arrows, and New Balance’s previous collaboration from 2018 on the New Balance 997. The shoe features a grey mesh construction with grey suede overlays. Contrasting pink and purple accents are found throughout the design of the upper. A pink “N” logo with white trim appears on both sides and “KXTH” branding is found on the pink leather overlay on the heel. Additional branding includes white “990” insignia on the lateral side of the heel, and classic “New Balance” detailing on the back of the midsole and on the tongue tag. The shoe rides on a two-tone cream and white midsole that houses New Balance’s ENCAP cushioning technology. Release date: June 15, 2022
